We have been visiting Ronda for years and this place is our favourite. Relaxed, friendly and authentic. The owners are very personable and great with our young children. The meat has a lovely taste from the wood BBQ. Real Homely feel to the place.

While spending our time in Ronda, I conducted a review of Spanish barbecue establishments and this place was a standout. We decided to try it. First... no menus. The place only seems to have one meal plan. Starts with a little ant paste and bread. Then a tomato salad, followed by a fried mushroom. From that, a sampling of sausages. Once completed with that, the entree of grilled meats (pork, beef and ribs) on top of a mound of fries. All items were excellent. The meat needed nothing. Cooked to perfection.
Lastly, they wanted to finish up with a dessert, but we were too full to enbib, so they presented us with several liquors :).
There was a language struggle as English was very limited, but all worked out. When it was time to depart we asked for a taxi to be called for us, none were available. The female hostess gave us a ride back to our hotel. So nice. While riding back she took us on small tour of the town we did not previously see.
In closing. If you want some awesome Spanish barbacoa while while in Ronda, I give this place an A+!- Comida

Amazing steak and deserts . Butcher and he’s wife who makes the deserts . Love it . Litterally drives 2 hours for it ❤️

We had the loveliest evening here in this local restaurant. Fabulous food, including the most incredible grilled steaks , tasty starters, delicious desserts … we especially appreciated the warmth of the welcome by the lovely owner and his wife - such a special couple.. a marvellous experience that we’ll remember for a long time.

Can't recommend enough if you want to eat an incredible steak for an affordable price. This was the best meal I had in a very long time. Would give it 6 stars if I could. Greetings from Germany and thanks for the super tasty cheesecake 🫶🏻 Madita and Alex

The food was really delicious and service was extremely good! The chefs were friendly and made us feel like home. Mushroom was so so good. The best mushroom dish ever!! Meat was also good Everybody in the restaurant were happy and enjoying their time. They all helped us to find a taxi😂 I will definitely come back.

We came across this place by chance one evening as we walked away from the main tourist spots. From the outside, this place looked like a typical neighbourhood bar serving the familiar locals, and we weren't sure they were serving food. One of the owners (assuming mum) noticed us contemplating through the window and invited us in, sat us down, and told us there was no menu as such. Instead, there was the daily tapas, a choice of a mushroom or tomato starter, and then, for mains, a plate of meat cooked on a charcoal served with homemade fried potatoes.
So along with our drink came a choice of tapas. We opted for a Russian salad and, in my opinion, quite the best one I've sampled so far in my 6 years of travelling Andalusia.
For starters, we both chose the mushroom dish... which was sublime!! A single fresh, stuffed mushroom lightly coated and fried, drizzled with a sweet glaze and topped with crispy onions, aioli, and what I can only describe as a sprinkle of magic. The flavour and texture were incredible.
As we waited for our main dish, we were served three variations of the local sausage, which we were beautifully balanced in flavour and cooked perfectly.
For mains, the meat of the day was shoulder of pork. Served on a bed of hand-cut patatas fritas, small slices of expertly char grilled meat. Tender, juicy, full of flavour, and simply irresistible.
All of the above was served with friendly, authentic charm.
Do not assume this place doesn't deserve a visit simply because it may look 'local' from the outside. It's exactly what you should be sampling when visiting the gem that is Ronda.- Precio por persona

If you want to avoid the more turistic places to eat in Ronda, try this! Charcoal grill, typical local food with excellent quality & very reasonable prices. Its a bit of a walk but well worth it.

Delicious food, no menu so no stress. The owner adjusts the size of the dishes to the number of guests. Amazing service and even better food. The price to quality ratio is excellent. We paid 94€ for 4 people with drinks.

This place is totally amazing. I think is the best restaurant where i was in Spain. The service was very kind And nice. Food… the best. Strongly recommended.

This is a wonderful place if you want to be part of the local community. We had great food as recommended by our hosts (specialty meat cooked on a wood fired barbecue) and nice wine, with outstandly warm and friendly service.

The food is very good. Limited menu, but for the best. BBQ iberican pork was very tasty and we'll cooked. The tomato salad was fresh and with a lot of flavour and their famous mushroom dish is outstanding. Good selection of drinks and a very friendly team. We will be back. Thank you for a great evening.
Just amazing! Well well: find the bar, go to the bar, order your piece of meat...wait one glass of Rioja (maybe 2) and get an amazing tasty tomato...then butcher's car stops and he brings half a cow 🤣, the guy cut a piece of it and starts to cook it 😳! And the most important: that piece of meat was just unbelievable 🤤🤤🤤!
Amazing service. Super friendly owners. They know Spanish, German and a bit of English. Food was amazing and her cake was out of thus world. We loved it.

Authentischer Eingang. Der Chef hatte uns einen sehr guten Wein ausgesucht und zwei kleine Vorspeisen (Tomate, Champignon) serviert. Aber schon der Oliventeller vorab hatte einen besonderen Geschmack. Als Hauptspeise gab es diverses Fleisch und Wurst gegrillt. Einfach köstlich. Dass im Hintergrund ein paar Männer aus der Nachbarschaft bei einem Bierchen Fußball schauten, machte für uns den Abend noch authentischer spanisch: einfach und gut - einfach gut. Dank auch der sehr herzlichen Chefin.
